i see smiles in the vast space of happiness. the open, love-luck lost hopelessness of bliss. i outstretch my hand. i grasp at the moon that fits in my palm. i close my fist and there is hope. in the cold and bitter wetness, there is hope. as they undulate, the ripples turn to dust.

and hey. i guess i can be happy too.

I'm a firm believer that stories should only end one way... right where they began.

Where have the years gone?

is anyone still listening? is anyone still there? and don't it feel good.

There was a time.

I realize that this blog is updated very rarely these days. Wonder why that is? Lots of things happen to me that warrant a post, but then again almost nothing happens to me. Don't really understand why my personality's wired in such a way that I hate doing things but get bored easily. Wish I could be those happy, shiny folk who go out and have fun, taking advantage of their youth. They like clubbing. I like going to dive bars. I'm like an old man, seriously. Still have that feeling that the world's leaving me behind. I've been stuck in a happy sort of rut. But now it's time for a change, a new chapter in my life. I've got a goal now, one that hopefully will help me achieve my other goals. It's one of those rare occasions that I actually have something to aim for, instead of just floundering about. With that said, I think it's safe to say that I gotta drop some poundage and learn how to swim again so I can join the Navy. Imagine me, a sailor. Hah. Well, it's always been said that men are drawn to the sea. And thinking back on my life, the further I got away from the sea, the unhappier I became. Must be a psychological thing. So here's to a fresh start and a new beginning.
